In Tumwater, a tight-knit community that values education, collaboration, and support, the act of giving holds immense power. Donating to local causes, particularly those that focus on students and community programs, creates a ripple effect that strengthens the fabric of the entire region. When we contribute to these initiatives, we not only directly support the students but also help foster a thriving, connected community.
What Your Support Makes Possible: With the support of you, our community, we provide wraparound case management services using the nationally recognized Community Schools model. This means connecting students and their families with critical resources to support their education, health, and overall wellbeing. Here are some examples of what your support makes possible…
$1,000 helps prevent eviction for a student and their family
$500 helps with critical car repairs to keep a family on the road to school and work
$250 helps to cover costs of utility bills and/or groceries to keep a student and their family safe & healthy this month
$100 removes the barrier of co-pays and other costs for student medical needs like glasses
$50 covers laundry so a student can come to school with pride, or helps purchase necessities like shoes or a coat
$35 supports a family with a gas card
